What is Media Made Me?

Media Made Me is a space I’ve created to dive into the cultural conversations created by the shows, movies, books, podcasts, and other media that reach the saturation levels that turn them into table talk at work and group chat fodder with friends.

This is a place where I ask why do we love what we love, what are we learning from those things, and why is it important for us to understand the answers to those questions?

Option 1: Go deeper into what you’re watching, reading, and listening to with the free subscription.

We spend a lot of time immersed in TV, books, movies, podcasts, and more — I think it’s worth understanding why we love what we love and what we’re learning along the way.

Free subscribers will be the first to know about new videos, newsletters and podcasts on the latest deep dive into a media topic.

Option 2: Get the freebies, and use me as your filter for the latest trending media.

For this tier of subscriber, you’ll get an additional newsletter called Hot or Not where I watch the trending shows on a popular streamer, read the book everyone is talking about, listen to that podcast you’ve been wanting an honest opinion on, etc. and give you the download.

You’ll get at least one of these a month, so you can know when it’s worth devoting your precious free time to a binge read, watch or listen.

Option 3: Get great recs for new content and meet new people

This newsletter is my media for media people newsletter, with recs for people who want to watch shows, read books, and listen in on albums and podcasts that aren’t just what’s trending on social week to week.

As part of this tier you can also meet people like you who are super into the media they love through a dedicated chat. This is the most upgraded version of Media Made Me for those looking for recs that are off the beaten path.
